This is a legal requirement for all beauty professionals to ensure the colour products are safe for you.
Although most people won’t have a reaction, certain conditions can increase the likelihood, such as:
- Pregnancy
- Recent COVID recovery
- History of skin conditions
- History of reacting to tattoos or henna
The patch test only takes a couple of minutes and entails a little bit of the colour being applied behind your ear.
