Color.me by Kevin Murphy, created by renowned hairstylist Kevin Murphy, is a professional hair colour line known for its high-performance products that prioritise both your and my health. Color.Me is free from PPD and ammonia and uses naturally and sustainably sourced ingredients like Aloe Vera, Honey, Shea Butter and Pomegranate.

I only team up with brands that are sincerely dedicated to a sustainable future and vehemently oppose animal testing. Simply put: brands that resonate with my own values.

Yes, you will need a patch test up to 48 hours before your appointment, but only if you’re new or haven’t had a colour in the last 6 months with me. It’s a UK legal thing and it’s to make sure you’re all good with the colour I’ll be using.

Most research shows that it’s safe to dye or colour your hair while pregnant.

Although the chemicals in permanent and semi-permanent hair dyes may cause harm, this is only in very high doses. When you use hair dye, you are only exposed to very low amounts of these chemicals.

If you’re unsure about colouring your hair during pregnancy, I recommend you to speak to your GP.

I sure do! And if you’ve had a haircut with me before, it’s on the house. Just a heads up, if you end up needing more than one fringe trim between haircuts, I kindly ask for a £10 donation to a local charity of my choice.

About The Studio

I work from a co-working studio called Studio 90. Operating from a co-working studio, I enjoy the flexibility to customise my services to your individual needs, unconstrained by traditional hairdressing norms.

The studio is based on the ground floor. There is one shallow step (50mm) at the entrance to the studio. There are two steps (150-170mm each) to the basin area. There is an accessible toilet inside De Beauvoir Block.

Paid on-street parking available.

Bicycle racks are available in front of studio in secure area or outside De Beauvoir Block.
